Minnesota Sports Teams Going Down The Drain

Minnesota Timberwolves suck

This is an older video, but it really relates to how many Minnesota sports teams have been performing lately. We have the Twins, Wild, Vikings, Timberwolves, and the Gophers. The twins were predicted to win the world series this year, and they are currently 2nd to last in the league. The wild haven't produced much of a season the last couple of years, but people are hoping that we will do better with a new coach and a few new key players in the lineup. The Vikings have some great, useful players, but cannot capitalize on anything (especially blowing a 20-0 lead in today's game). The timberwolves are doing so poorly they can't even get fans to go to the game by giving away free tickets. Lastly the Gophers, our football team still can't manage to do much even with Jerry kill, our hockey team didn't do anything special last season, and neither did the basketball team that didn't nearly live up to the hype that they had last year. My point being through all of this is, what kind of position are Minnesota fans taking on our sports teams? Are they giving up on some sports like basketball? Or are people staying loyal to their home team and hoping that we can pull out of these slumps throughout the state? Minnesotans have grown up through the years being cultured to be a part of the Minnesota teams and support them through slower times. But with many of the sports going downhill, is that culture staying strong throughout the people of Minnesota? I have been disappointed recently with our sports, but I still support our teams. I feel like part of this comes through the social aspects of the games, it's like an addiction; this addiction can be compared to Becker's relationship of smoking pot and the feeling being good because of the social parts that come with the actual act of smoking with others.
