Stem Cells Rehabilitation

What says that scientists are secretly destroying the world which they are trying to help and achieve. Along this line, the ideas and investigations of what scientists do and create go along with the ideas that many of the advances we have today were designed to help save lives. To have current medicine, we had to go through many different scientific advances. Penicillin was a medical advance that can be said has easily saved millions of lives throughout the many years sense it was produced.

In ways scientists, especially those who are Catholics, will by their research establish the truth of the Church's claim that "there can be no contradiction between two divine laws—that which governs the transmitting of life and that which governs the fostering of married love. (30)
We hold in the highest esteem those doctors and members of the nursing profession who, in the exercise of their calling, endeavor to fulfill the demands of their Christian vocation before any merely human interest. (39)

The pope states that when dealing with scientists, and with doctors, as long is there is a means of saving lives, there is no problem with the preservation of human life. One issue that can be carved out is one of Stem Cell Research. Stem Cell Research and Rehabilitation is currently one of the most debated issues between the church and the scientific institutions, and because of this separation there has been much fighting about the two.

From what the pope has said above there is not a need for Stem Cell research and rehabilitation. Stem Cells can be used to saved many lives if scientist find out what the possibilities of stem cells can be unlocked. In this concern, the pope is wrong. If there is a way that people save lives, they should be looking to further that research.

  1. I agree, if Stem cells can save many lives then we should proceed with research of it. It has been a scientific breakthrough and we should use it. If people believe in God's plan, then it was his plan for this breakthrough to become known.
